Happy Binary Day!
This is a post migrated from my previous blog.
Happy Binary Day everyone! Yesterday and today are a couple of the binary dates this year. What's a binary date? Well, it's when a date has only 0s and 1s in it. The last time this happened was in 2000 and 2001. There will be several more dates this year and in 2011, but those will be the last of the binary dates this century. Of course, this only works in the short form of the dates, when only two digits are used for the year.
Here's a complete list of binary dates in each of the binary years for this century (2000, 2001, 2010, 2011):
- 01-01 (January 1st)
- 01-10 (January 10th)
- 01-11 (January 11th)
- 10-01 (October 1st)
- 10-10 (October 10th)
- 10-11 (October 11th)
- 11-01 (November 1st)
- 11-10 (November 10th)
- 11-11 (November 11th)
As an aside, yes, I do have some more posts to do about my second Tokyo trip. I'll get to them eventually, sorry. 😅
